Breanna and Whit Bissell began their journey by working local events in Arizona back in 2005, which lead to a traveling position for a nationwide event series for Whit and a position at US Speedskating as the Event and Brand Manager for Breanna. After leaving Utah, Whit continued to work in multiple nationwide series including the Color Run and the Dirty Girl Mud Run and Breanna as the National Events Manager at USA Triathlon.

SPECIALIZING IN MOUNTAIN BIKE TIMING & EVENTS: Why does MM specialize in mountain bike timing and events? One simple answer, we love it! Each type of mountain bike event has it's own challenges but we understand all of them. Mountain bike events are some of the most complicated events to time and we hold a schedule full of them. A typical cross country race has so many moving parts when dealing with the large numbers of divisions, laps and start times but we have a full understanding of what needs to happen and how to produce accurate results quickly. Then you kick it up 5 notches and you have yourself an enduro event. Our current schedule holds multiple XC, Enduro and Ultra Endurance mountain bike events. 


EVENT MANAGEMENT: MM has seen or experienced all the craziness that can happen on event day. They have assisted, managed or produced events of all types including mountain bike races, cycling, running, triathlons, inline skating, various concerts, one particularly large football game that happens once a year in February and even events on snow (this is rare being from Arizona). MM can travel far and wide wherever your event is located. We can see many angles of an event to help it be successful such as potential safety issues, parking problems, participant flow, venue layout and course challenges. It was our goal to be a necessary asset for all event organizers looking for some additional help for their event or for those wanting us to manage it entirely. TIMING - PRE-RACE: MM will help you set up your entire event using The results, photo and event platform provides seamless interaction between the Jaguar timing software and is free for race directors and easy to use for your participants. Event information, sponsors, results, fundraising, course maps, and much more are all available in one convenient location. MM will be there to help you every step of the way!


TIMING - RACE DAY: When the big day finally arrives, MM will be there bright and early to setup their world class finish line. We’ll position our race trailer on location and setup/test all timing equipment well in advance of the start of the race. Why so early? We are committed to helping your entire event run smoothly. We know what it’s like on race day and how chaotic it can get. We want you to come to us after the event and say you never had to even think about what we were doing because you knew everything was being handled.


TIMING - FINISH LINE: It was our goal from day one to provide an amazing finish line experience no matter how big or small the event. While other timing companies will often show up with a few construction cones and a timing mat, MM delivers a world class finish line experience at each and every race we time. Our custom trailer will serve as a mobile office allowing us to work under adverse conditions if needed. In fact, we probably spend more money on backup systems than our competitors spend on their entire timing system! We are equipped with the Jaguar Platinum Timing Systems which are capable of timing up to 10,000 runners, custom Global Truss finish arch with overhead antennas, safety cones, Snapshot finish line photos, Honda generator, mile markers, start flags, and many other standard features allow us to provide fast and accurate results and a finish line experience that makes every event look great. One of our favorite features is our Jaguar Announcer software. Since our overhead antennas start picking up a signal from the timing chip as the athlete approaches, we are able to see their information on our monitors and call out an athlete by name as they approach the finish line.


TIMING - AFTER THE RACE:  MM has a number of options for results posting, depending on the type of event we are timing. These include a Race Results Kiosk, which prints out a receipt showing the athletes finish time, scrolling results television monitor or paper results affixed to our results board. Once all athletes are finished a detailed report of age group winners will be presented to the race director to announce at the awards ceremony. These reports can be customized to meet the unique needs for each event. Results are also uploaded to the same ITS Your Race event page and mobile app so friends and family can see the athlete’s results as it happens.  Athletes can have instant access to results, photos and custom certificates all through ITS Your Race.
